NCDC opened in 2012 in NW Calgary offering competitive and recreational classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Acro, Lyrical and Modern to students aged 3-18 in a nurturing, positive environment.  We train ballet classes using the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Syllabus, offering exams from our 2 certified RAD RTS teachers at the Vocational Level.

Students in the competitive program at NCDC may have the opportunity to take yearly examinations, participate in competitions, workshops and auditions, and may be presented with travel opportunities which focus on team building and enhancing their dance training.  We are so grateful to all the families who have chosen NCDC as their dance studio, and welcome all new and returning dancers with open arms!

The long-term, consistent teaching team at NCDC includes a fully certified RAD Ballet, Acrobatic Arts, and ADAPT Jazz & Tap teachers, with many years of experience both here in Calgary and across Canada.  We are proud to have the most educated, dedicated and caring teachers in the industry – all who have been working as a team since NCDC’s inception in 2012, fostering the consistent and cohesive program we are known for. NCDC also regularly brings in guest instructors from across Canada, affording our students the opportunities to learn from some of the best in the industry.
